Sofía is a founding member of SEIKLA Ecuador. She has been working on legal issues for ten years. She is a multidisciplinary professional, since she advises on legal and administrative matters. She has experience with national and foreign companies and people from Ecuador, the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, among others. In addition to different industries such as health, agriculture, mining, technology, construction, commerce, and tourism. Among its most notable cases are: Implementation of an agricultural business for more than one million dollars, implementation of a mining business for the purchase of gold for more than 10 million dollars, sale and purchase of a business in progress for almost 5 million dollars, and restructuring business group.
Before founding SEIKLA, Sofía was part of prestigious law firms in Ecuador. Likewise, she was an assistant professor in Consumer Law and International Contracts (taught in English) at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
During her professional career, she has made several publications, such as “El panico financiero. An incomplete criminal offense” from the Legal News magazine of Ediciones Legales.
